General Company Description
Coal Fired Steam Power Plant Paiton units 7 and 8 are two units of power plants that use coal-fired turbo generators as hot steam with a capacity of 2 x 615 NMW(net) or 2 x 670 GMW (gross). Both units are operating with the average capacity factor of 85 % per year. By producing electrical energy average of 9,158,580 MWH per year and coal consumption is approximately 4.6 million tonnes per year (if HHV : 4800 Kcal / Kg & Heat Rate 2447 Kcal / Kwh). He coal was imported from Adaro coal mine in East Kalimantan and Kideco using barges and boats. Coal is accommodated in the accumulation of coal ( coal stock pile ) at the location of Paiton . Paiton units 7 and 8 are owned by Paiton Energy Company operated by PT . International Power Maintenance and Operation of Indonesia ( PT IPMOMI ). International Power Maintenance and Operation of Indonesia ( IPMOMI ) . Construction of this project is intended to meet the needs of the electrical energy of Java and Bali . This project is the implementation of the Indonesian government policy in the growth of energy diversification .In this case , coal deposits in Indonesia will be used as a source of power generation , and reduce dependence on petroleum
To meet the government's target / PLN in terms of the provision of electricity in Java Madura, Bali on power development Phase II , PT . Paiton Energy appointed by the government for the project expansion / Expansion Project to build a power plant in Paiton Power Plant Unit 3 with a capacity of 1 x 815 NMW . So the total coal based power plant which is managed by PT . Paiton Energy is NMW 2045 in Paiton, Probolinggo.
When the power plant Unit 3 the ability to operate 90 % in a year , the estimate of the total energy generated is : 6,425,460 MWH / year and mengkonsumpsi of 3.06 million tons of coal per year ( if HHV : 4800 Kcal / Kg & Heat Rate 2286 Kcal / Kwh ).
Until now, the company is a consortium of PT Paiton Energy owns shares of project Paiton units 7 and 8 and 3 units , among others :
1. GDF- France & IPR - England
2. MITSHUI Corporation - Japan
3. Tokyo Electric Power Company – Japan
4. PT. Batu Hitam Perkasa Indonesia
PT IPMOMI located in Paiton - Probolinggo , until today has a number of Indonesian migrant workers as many as 415 people and foreign workers 3 people
General Requirements :
Candidates should have an Engineering / D-3 or equivalent, fresh graduate / experiences, grade point average 2.75, have good oral and written English Communication skill and maximum Age 28 years old. Good health and physical endurance. #Posisi sebagai : OPERATOR TECHNICIAN-1 Production
Reporting to and under the supervision of the production Shift Supervisor and/or Senior Operator Technician, he should be responsible for the safe control and operation of generating facility and associated plant, within limits for maximum efficiency and output while maintaining environmental compliance. Start up & shutdown plant equipment locally and from the control room. Manually or remotely operate the Valves, pumps, dampers, water conditioning equipment, portable equipment, and other equipment normally operated from the control room. Determine operating status of plant equipment from the previous shift personnel, logbook entries, visual inspection, of records and all indicating instruments, and by local inspection of plant equipment. Conduct shift change by fully briefing the incoming relief
#Posisi sebagai : TECHNICIAN OPERATOR -1 Maintenance (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrument &Control)
Under the direction by the Maintenance Supervisor, maintains and perform maintenance activities of all equipment, and assist in the implementation of plant improvements and condition monitoring at Paiton Unit 7 & 8 and 3 included Permanent Operating Housing complex. Performs preventive Maintenance as guided in the Preventive Maintenance Program which includes inspection, maintains, troubleshoots and test of equipment. Available at all the time to perform emergency maintenance as required with a tight schedule and working conditions in order to support Production activities Stay overnight and long hours at Plant as deemed necessary within regulations

Participants who received this program will get structured training related to power generation and experiential learning in the form of assignment in some technical department at PT. IPMOMI.
